Decree Absolute Copy From The UK

We supply genuine Copies of Decree Absolutes for UK marriage dissolutions. Also known as Divorce Records, a Decree Absolute is the final step in formalising the end of a marriage. These documents are issued by the registration Court and include the stamp of that court.

Which records are available?

Records for copy decrees are available from 1858 for divorces registered in England or Wales, and 1830 for those registered in Scotland.

What information do I need to provide?

As a minimum, you will need to provide the name of the husband and wife, along with the required search period. It is important that the full name of both parties is provided to ensure that the correct document is provided. We also use the marriage date and court location as a mechanism to establish which is the correct document.
