Choose this service to obtain an official replacement Decree Absolute (Divorce Decree) certificate legalised for use within Brazil. The service includes:
- Issue of a certified replacement decree absolute
- Consular legalisation by the Brazilian Consulate in London
Consular fees (dispersements) are included. Brazil does not require a UK Apostille prior to legalisation, however you will need to arrange a translation in Brazil by a sworn translator after the legalisation completes.

Divorce Court
Please indicate which court issued the original decree absolute. This is not mandatory, but does tend to speed up the issuing of replacement documents.
Date Divorce Dissolved
Whilst not essential, if you know the date or year of the divorce, please provide this.
Case Number
If this is known, please provide the case number. This will usually reduce the time taken to deliver the replacement by a week or more.

A search period of up to 10 years is provided with this service. Please indicate from what year you wish the search to be carried out. The search will then include 10 years from this year.
