Part Time Business Development Manager - West Yorkshire Based

Located at our offices in West Yorkshire, you will be seeking an exciting opportunity to develop new business opportunities for a growing international support company. You will be responsible for signing up new corporate clients needing to validate documents so that they can be officially presented outside the UK. Reporting directly to our Sales Manager, you will be a key member of our team and will help shape the future of our business, securing valuable repeat custom.

The role:

  • Targeting companies who may require our services internationally
  • Identifying complementary services to offer to our clients around the world
  • Using business social media to chat with and attract new clients
  • Keeping up to date with current events and changes in the marketplace which may be useful to our clients
  • Making phone calls to businesses to introduce yourself and our services

Who are we looking for:

You may be currently in a Customer Service or Admin role and looking for something more challenging. You may have flair as an entrepreneur and may already have earned additional income in this manner, or have the ambition to generate more income for yourself. You will be open to being completely re-trained and taking on board the direction given by our experienced Sales Manager. You will be hungry to not only meet sales targets, but to exceed them.

Key Details:

Hours: 25 hours a week (Monday to Friday, 9.30am-2.30pm)

Basic Salary: £10,200 paid monthly, with commission payments relating to sales. As an example of the commission to expect, your On Target Earnings (OTE) will be £19,200 per annum based on an annual gross profit from sales of £60,000. Your targeted earnings have been set at a realistic level and there is absolutely no cap on earnings.

Pension Plan: Contributory Company Pension Plan.

Holiday Allowance: 22 Days per annum, plus your birthday off every year.

  • Capability to interact with senior level HR, Directors and Business Leaders
  • An ability to think independently and work without oversight

No experience is necessary as full training will be given, however, an understanding of selling services would be helpful. This is a relaxed, friendly, but hardworking environment. As long as you have the ability to organise yourself and your working day, you’ll easily fit into our small team.
