You can order an official replacement Overseas UK Marriage Certificate below which is government-issued and guaranteed to be accepted by all UK authorities. For overseas clients, you may need to check with the person you are presenting the certificate to whether they need any additional validation on overseas documents. Please feel free to call us on +44 (0) 330 088 1142 if you have any questions.
NOTE 1: The registration of an overseas marriage in the UK is not compulsory and will only be available to order if it has been recorded with either the local Consulate, Embassy or (High) Commission, or the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London upon return to the UK.
UPDATE: The registration service for an overseas marriage ceased operation in 2014. If you require a copy of an overseas marriage certificate that was issued AFTER 2014, it won't be possible for us to find.
NOTE 2: Please be aware that any certificate issued after 2006 is only available directly from the General Register Office. If this is the case, go to https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content to order your certificates. We may still be able to obtain the certificate for you from a local registry office, but be advised that this is likely to take longer than the stated timespan.
